In life, everyone experiences the testing of his or her resolve. Will those “tests” cause us to be strengthened or diminished by what life brings? And do we have the wherewithal to stand against the most trying times and still rise to the top?
In this book of “power devotions” the author provides short inspirational snapshots of various adversarial conditions that demand a proper response, inspired by the author’s own life experience. These devotions are organized as a 40-day journey which challenges the reader to rise up from the ash heap of life holding the banner of victory while declaring—I AM still ‘UNBEATEN’.
UNBEATEN is topically relevant to today’s relationship, career, and family pressures. Areas of focus or “power themes” including Goals & Aspirations, Submission & Obedience, Overcoming, Ministry Secrets, The Power of God, Matters of the Heart, Deliver Us From Evil, Exceeding Expectations, and more.
At the end of each day’s devotion, the author directs a question to the reader prompting them to journal their own conclusion based on what they have read, in the section called “Introspection”. The devotion then concludes with a hands-on “Power Prayer” to help reinforce the principles presented.
This book not only inspires but also challenges: What are the true limits of our capacity? Although this book is within the Christian genre, it’s intended for broad distribution and designed to have a wide appeal therefore reaching a variety of demographics. It’s about incorporating new ways of thinking into life which has the potential to inspire across multiple people groups.
