What's your vision?
I would like a bright sky with clouds and the sun; probably an orange sky but blue or a setting sun would work too. I prefer animations and stylized images rather than raw pictures. A sky that contrasts light with dark would also be interesting. so a sun rising to push back night-time. Please use artistic license, but the goal is to convey 'light' pushing back night. A transition from stars and night to a morning sun-rise could be interesting (but do not focus too much on that idea). A stylized or animated sky that conveys the symbolism of 'light' pushing back 'darkness' is what is important. Then within this I would like to see a night version of the world where the earth is in darkness and the outlines of the land can barely be seen but the night lights can be. (See earth from space at night) Making the shape of the earth more noticeable is preferred so there is a more 'global' and spherical shape to the earth image is good. Showing the earth partly in darkness and partly in light would also work. Would prefer the night view of the world to show China and India, but does not HAVE to show the outlines and contours of China and India at night. But if a reader is able to know what part of the world they are looking at in the design, I would prefer them to see East Asia. Thanks. Then I would like the 'Christ Redeemer' statue from Rio De Janiero on the cover (just the statue) or potentially a Christian cross (possibly wooden or stone; something that looks older). With the Christ Redeemer statue I would prefer Jesus to be standing upright so the cross shape is noticeable, but would prefer Him to be displayed off-center where His focus is upon the earth rather than the reader. The general symbolism is Christ coming from the clouds or light to a world at night (darkness). Please use artistic license and creativity with the design work. I would prefer not to get the same cover idea 40 times. But that is the general symbolism I would like conveyed on the cover. I included an sketch of the cover, but would prefer a cover that is creatively derived.
Cover is 'A Christian Century' by 'Christopher Adam'. I would prefer the Title to be large and the author's name to be small and towards the bottom. Should have mentioned sooner but the cover is 5x8 and 300 dpi or greater per amazon ebook and createspace guidelines. Thanks.
