What a great experience. Flexible, creative, and understanding.
Fast and superb.
Armend designed the back cover and inside of our new book. He was fast, responsive and worked to very tight deadlines. He understood the brief perfectly and in places where he needed clarification he asked immediately. Delightful to work with and would work with him in the future - highly recommend!

It was a pleasure working with Dex, he captured the vision of my book exceptionally well. It was as if he was in my head designing what I had envisioned. He is a thoughtful and excellent designer and I will have him to design my next book cover.
How Jim 5f started their book cover journey

I started an industrial construction company in my mid-twenties and named it after my children. The company enjoyed tremendous success and grew over nearly twenty years and through two recessions into a multi-million dollar corporation with over a hundred and fifty employees. After nearly twenty years I was debt free with a thriving company, a good net worth and a good income; a comfortable retirement was in the cross hairs. Then a single subcontract with a ruthless billion dollar general contractor wiped it all out and plunged me over a million dollars in debt. In the midst of the fight to recover, my twenty four year old stepson Zach was tragically killed. The book begins with a retrospective of the events of my life that led up to that time and how those events worked to shape me and my faith. I discuss the undeniable workings of God in my life prior to that time and how my relationship with Him grew as I leaned on Him during the toughest times in my life.
Blessed by Financial Ruin will be a message of hope to those who have suffered a deep personal, physical or financial loss; the kind of loss that can trigger a crisis of faith, a crisis of identity, or a crisis of self-worth; and impart a sense of hopelessness. I want the readers to see that God was already at work in their life before their storm hit and that they can turn to Him in their time of need; that their value is not measured by their assets and that their future is not dictated by their past failures or present crisis. In each adversity lay hidden opportunities ready to be discovered.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a great cover for my forthcoming book "Blessed by Financial Ruin". I have attached some covers that caught my eye and descriptions of what I liked about them but I am looking to your creative genius to wow me. As I mention in the attached file, one of the stories involves a small plane so there may be a way to incorporate that into the design. If so, try to find the image of a low wing single engine retractable plane. The actual plane was a turbo charged t-tail Piper Lance. I added a pic of the type to the attached file.
