Becoming Us
Becoming Us, 8 Steps to Grow a Family that Thrives combines current research with age-old wisdom to walk a new generation of parents through the eight steps of parenthood. The book grows connected partners into connected parents so they can both grow a family that thrives.
My book cover has been designed, and I'm very happy with it, except that the tree image we've used is too 'busy' - too many leaves and too many colors. I'd like a new tree please.
The vision is for a beautiful, strong, vibrant, balanced tree. I would like to KEEP THE LOTUS FLOWER in the middle. I would like to KEEP THE EIGHT DOTS that surround the lotus to signify the 8 steps (the lotus and dots will be my logo). The dots will need to be slightly larger I think. I would like to use the following colors as provided in the first example: teal (circle color), burnt orange (the word "thrives"), brown (the rest of the words in the subtitle), green (the word "grow") and I would like to use these colors also in the tree. I would like to add the colors turquoise and green to the leaves and change the trunk colour to brown. I would like to DELETE the following colors: purple, yellow, blue, red from the leaves. I would like the banner to KEEP marine blue. I would like the lotus flower colours to be the same turquoise as the circle for the bottom two petals, the burnt orange for the middle ones and green for the central one.
I would like the tree to have a 'painting' or 'arty' effect - ideally a modern retro/vintage feel to complement the Australian Cover (attached).
Something in between the current tree and the other example (attached) would be great!
I would like to use the BUMPIER ROOTS in the second image (attached) - but LIGHTER BROWN like the text in the Cover Final (first one). I would like the rest to remain the same (or at least very similar) to the first image - unless it's better!!! I have also attached the Australian cover so you can see why I'd like an artistic/vintage treatment - makes my 'branding' more consistent across both books.
Ideally, I would like the tree to look like it is PAINTED or ILLUSTRATED.
