SideQuest: Diary of an Ex-Fangirl
Chris Lacagnina has been writing since childhood, everything from fanfiction and concert recaps to blog articles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and is a published writer and photographer. Drawing inspiration from her own adventures chasing a beloved rock band in her teens, Chris penned her first novel, SideQuest: Diary of an Ex-Fangirl, and has plans for many more. She is a lover of ‘80s movies, quirky references, the Legend of Zelda series, and her two cats. You can find her on Facebook.
SideQuest: Diary of an Ex-Fangirl is a story about a girl, Zelda, who grows up loving the band SideQuest. Though she begins the story thinking the band are basically perfect and can do no wrong, being aboard a cruise ship with them exposes some truths that cause the illusion to slowly fall away. Zelda is forced to confront her fangirl status and reevaluate her opinion of her lifelong heroes.
Women across the world who have loved a band or musician, and perhaps even followed them on tour. Most likely young, ages 18-35ish.

Maria is extremely professional and timely in her responses and updates. She designed the cover for my book first, and I was so impressed by her work that I asked her to layout the interior as well. I am just as satisfied with her interior layout work as I was with the cover designs. I highly recommend her for any part of the designing process!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
