Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a marine nursery in PALAU in the Pacific Ocean. We breed ornamental fish by the sustainable method of only catching low amounts of breedstock or even the eggs from the open waters to then breed species in our hatchery. Especially endangered species are interesting for restocking the worlds reefs. Our business is operating 4 seperate departments. One ist the science and reserach. One is the hatchery to breed ornamental fish for the aquarium business. Third is to breed fish for restocking of endangered reefs. Also we have Tourists visiting our hatchery for sightseeing which is about 30% of our income. The business is operated by Tom Bowling an experienced marine bioligist who was also in the teams building some of the largest aquariums in the world such as Paris and Brisbane...

The brand should have both options to be shown as a very scientifc approach and for sales of ornamental fish b to b and later b to c on website. Also it should be adoptable for the local tourism market to produce colorful Palau/biota merchandise like hats, shirts, memory sticks... Our facebook page is biota palau and contains our actual simple brand name. Pictures of ornamental fish of some varieties could be uploaded if needed at this stage
