We design scents /fragrances for spaces (or interiors), the industry is sometimes called scent marketing or ambient scenting.
We consult mainly with other businesses to select a fragrance of their choice, and then we provide a technology (scent machine) to diffuse the fragrance.
Our team then installs and services the technology onsite for the client.
In the case of the word 'space' we refer to the space inside shops, hotel lobbies and even homes. We like the dual reference to (outer) space where breathing is so important. Where every breath or action is mindfully done.
'every breath counts'
'beauty in every breath'
'A moment in every breath'
Visual references can as such be astronauts, traveling in space, warmth from sun, awe from stars, asteroids..
We design scenting machines so it is important we are seen as technically ahead of the industry, so technology, professionalism, trust are important.
We are largely a B2B company dealing with hotels, shops, car dealerships etc. We do some home consulting so it will be good to have general brand appeal and overall global appeal.
We provide a premium service so SPACE should work in a luxury sense. Luxury buys space and time.
Men may be more drawn to a technology angle, however we should also present as aesthetically and emotively appealing to women. (assuming broad stereotypes of course).
Space shapes and consellations may also draw parallel to chemisty and molecules relevant to our industry of smelling.
Dont forget smelling is a very human activity, highly emotional and connected to our memories as well. Noses however arent very attractive models. I do see the emotion an astronaut might feel when looking out over the earth for instance. (tapping into sense of awe)
