Fortes Dei Juvat
This is the beginning of a new family coat of arms. We want to start with a stand alone family logo and build from there.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
The attached pictures are only a concept using clip-art downloaded from the internet. We would like a wolf-head image super-imposed on a fleur-de-Lis that has sword-like edges. We would like the gap between the wolf-head and the fleur-de-lis to be transparent, revealing items behind the picture. All of this to have clean edges. We would like the wolf-head to have an intense stare, like the wolf is guarding the family with a furrowed brow. But we do not want the wolf snarling and we do not want it to bear it's teeth. the attached picture has more beard on the wolf than we would like. The final picture should be easily resized in multiple programs (microsoft Word or Powerpoint) and shared with other vendors to decorate clothing or bar-ware on a 2-dimensional surface. But we would also like the picture to be understood by an engraver so we can use the picture to create jewelry and such. Again - the first picture attached was just an idea. it needs a lot of work. the white around the wolf-head was only intended to show a gap between wolf-head and fleur-de-lis. We do not want that thick white border. the second picture is an icon or mascot from a sports team. We share this only to say we really like the how simple it is and how intense the stare of the wolf is.

I was impressed by the care, attention and extreme patience Footstep gave us. He won our logo contest with a logo we love and we thus engaged him with additional projects. He was very professional and courteous and went above and beyond in delivering the designs we wanted.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
