Excellent experience! All the little changes and variations we needed to see were offered promptly and with creativity. We felt that the designs had a lot of though behind them, even the concepts we declined.
How Jon-MGW started their logo & brand identity pack journey

This company is called Sure Cycle. This company has been around awhile now but has not been marketed well. So for starters we want a new logo and identity. Sure Cycle consists of components that make semi auto firearms run smoother and cleaner and more reliable. Sure Cycle components are usually made of superior metals like High grade stainless steel and high strength alloys. Some sure cycle components are stand alone parts while others are complete mechanical assemblies consisting of moving parts such as springs, tubes and followers. Currently Sure Cycle has been marketed mainly to shotgun enthusiasts who hunted waterfowl. This was because the materials used never rust in wet conditions. However our goal is to get away from the waterfowl marketing and market Sure Cycle as components for many models of pistols, rifles and shotguns for all hunting, shooting, competition, tactical etc.. Someone with some firearm knowledge or mechanical background might make a good design here. Because the words Sure Cycle could be somewhat generic we think the logo should be recognized within the firearms industry. With that being said we are not looking for generic logos using random gun, scope crosshairs etc that you may see on others gun store logos. Some keywords that represent what Sure Cycle accomplishes would be, forward motion, recoil, rebound, repeat, follow up shot, reliability, etc...
For those of you who know firearms well Sure Cycle ensures the firearm performs shot after shot without jams or malfunctions by using specific manufacturing techniques and superior metals. We also have patents on some of the assemblies we market. Also Sure Cycle is trademarked as two words. We do want both words displayed at the top or bottom of the logo that is designed. It can be ran together as one word as long as Sure is a different color that the word Cycle. While we are not apposed to somehow incorporate the Letters SC as part of the logo we would really like to see a unique logo based on what Sure Cycle does for firearms as referenced above.
I can provide some current packaging samples and graphics used by the previous owner if that helps. Here is the current website for Sure Cycle. http://www.surecycle.com
MGW also sells Sure Cycle currently and can be found here. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/sur
Feel free to ask as many questions as needed. As far as industry goes I picked industrial but sport applies as well. I could only pick one

Bold, Really stands out.
I like the use of different fonts in the name.
I like seeing a logo that the image ties in directly with the word in the company name. This is what we are looking for. The paint splash forming the crown is great work.
Classic style smooth lines and font bring it together.
Simple silhouette of pets forming the H. I like it.
This logo stands out. Just different with a great use of shapes.
The use of logo and color and box is perfect and all ties together. This logo directly ties in with both words in the company name and what they do. Winner on all aspects. This is what we are looking for.
Don't like color but I like the creative nature of the hand moving the letter. Again anytime the logo represents directly a word in the company name is a winner.
This logo makes me want to drink beer. Im not sure why really. So I like it.
I would remember this logo as a consumer. Simple yet different enough to stand out.
Incorporates tool shape into logo that matches the word in company name. Perfect.
