Who are you known as?
House + Soul
What’s your company slogan?
Better Real Estate Experiences
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a husband and wife real estate team who work for Keller Williams. Instead of using our names, we're creating an identity within the company as House + Soul. Our main focus is creating the best real estate experience possible for residential home buyers/sellers in the Nashville area market. We ultimately hope to appeal to the luxury buyer, but as we are just starting out we want to appeal to everyone from the higher-income to up-and-coming millennials. The market here is unique in that there are just as many people wanting sprawling farms as there are those who want ultra-modern, urban condos...you might say there is definitely a "town and country" vibe here.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Real Estate & Mortgage
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Aquas: Empathy, compassion, clarity and precision.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Nothing too busy in the logo, prefer simple styles with modern or unique fonts. No houses or monograms in the logo, but could subtly incorporate some architectural features (ie Chippendale railing, window pane shadows cast across a wall or floor, or the curve of a spiral staircase) in the logo, possibly utilizing negative space design. It might also be fun to play with overlapping the "O" and the "U" in "House" and "Soul" or making the "House" in one font and "Soul" in another. Love dark gray, linen, white, black, taupe or navy as main colors, and not opposed to a mostly neutral logo with a hint of color somewhere or one that has an ombre effect in the color. Since we are a real estate company, we will be using our logo layered on top of a lot of images of interiors/exteriors of houses, so would want a logo that would look good over a photograph (the next to the last three images I attached are photos I took myself for examples) and one that would mesh well with gold, copper or bronze foil emboss/detail when we print our cards/stationery. This logo could possibly be used for a sign one day, so it definitely needs to be immediately recognizable.
