Barhopolis

Barhopolis is the name we've chosen for a series of websites that detail the nightlife that exists in select cities. Currently, we have websites for Ocean City MD, Baltimore MD, Annapolis MD, Washington DC, and The North Carolina Research Triangle

The websites we currently have are available at the addresses below:

If you take a look at the sites, that should give you a pretty good idea about the type of product we produce, and what kind of company we are. We also have an iPhone application called Barhopolis, that is available from our websites and on the iTunes store. You can see the icon we are using on our websites. The app consists of up-to-date happy hour/bar specials in a convenient format.

We are going to be changing all the websites to city.barhopolis.com sites, instead of individual sites, because we are adding a number of new sites. In other words, the Baltimore site will become baltimore.barhopolis.com, and Annapolis will become annapolis.barhopolis.com.

We are looking to have an icon designed for Barhopolis that will be used like the Facebook and Twitter icons, found at the lower left of barsannapolis.com, are used. I've attached an example of the Facebook badge, FacebookBadge.png.

I've also attached our logo, barhopolis-logo.png. I'd like to maintain this color scheme and overall feel. Again, we are looking for a site badge similar to what Facebook has. The badge itself should look good on a variety of backgrounds, so the colors should be kept neutral, and the design simple, to support this.

The icon deliverable is two production files, one 32x32, and the other 54x54, and one master vector file.

The production files should be PNGs with an Alpha Channel, and should look good over any background color or pattern, so that they can be floated over content. The master file should be a layered vector illustrator file.

I will need layered AI files when the contest is complete.
