My Nutty Buddy
Innovation Nation LLC is the parent company, under which I plan to launch individually branded and marketed goods. Each of these goods will meet different needs and have different audiences, therefore unique advertising/marketing/PR targets and vehicles including their own website for purchases.
My first product, which is trademark and patent pending, is a personal, at-home sized nut and seed butter making machine. It's the size of a coffee maker and serves the same type of purpose as an ice cream maker, that is, it allows people to make their own product according to their preferences. It allows for creative combinations such as peanuts and chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and coconut, almonds and flax seeds, hazelnuts with cocoa, pine nuts with honey... etc. This is the essential function.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
It provides not only the health and individualization/DYI attraction, it also has a cost-saving advantage compared to buying packaged nut and seed butters in markets. Fresh, instant nut butter without any added preservatives, colors, salts, sugars, etc is extremely difficult to find in the marketplace. The cost of buying high-quality, healthy butters pre-made is costly and customers who are looking for this product either have to trade down due to price or decline altogether.
In terms of branding, I want to be in the health and fitness, DIY/homemade, and food sensitivity/allergy markets.
This product and brand is playful and friendly yet fully functional. The name implies that someone can depend on it to provide just what they want and need. That is the emotional message.
I also want the logo to convey nuts/seeds/nutbutter or some indication of it's abilities.
From a design standpoint, this logo needs to be versatile and clean. It will be used on the actual machine, the website, business cards, etc.
Ideas so far have been things along the lines of a squirrel holding/carrying a huge nut butter jar. This is cartoony and friendly but a bit too detailed, but could be turned into a silhouette or block art.
