How PuzlzleMaster started their button or icon journey
Redraw or Design Outdated Icon Buttons.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Draw 23 icon buttons to be used in the windows of an accounting system database. We have given the program a facelift and we now need to update the icon buttons to be used on the new input screens. We have examples of the existing buttons and an Idea of what the replacement buttons should look like. You can use the same theme from the example or provide your own theme design if you have a better idea. Send us a message so we can email you pictures of the buttons that we need replaced.
- Item 1...The ENTIRE footprint of each button must be exactly 36X36 pixels. They should be designed “native” to that size and not stretched or shrunken to fit and therefore introducing distortion.
Item 2...each button MUST have an “up” and a “down” state graphic, i.e. a different look when it is clicked on. It can be the illusion of being depressed or “lights up” (as Vista does), we don’t care, just so long as it is very obvious that the button has been clicked.
Item 3...The buttons must fit on ANY window with ANY background and if they have rounded edges, then they MUST have transparency (GIF or PNG) so that the Windows Form Designer software can properly display them at execution time - blend them with the background.
- Item 1..Buttons that a person cannot identify the graphic when the buttons appear small on a high resolution screen.
