I want to write a school book about computer science for younger students (12-13 years old). The book is a non-profit project.
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
for a school book I need figures which are annotating and giving advices to exercises and texts. Therefore, I would like to beg your help by creating a figure which is appearing next to the text throughout the whole school book. Additionally the figure should be used in small variances (girls and boys) to tell stories in the book.
The school book is about computer science. It’s a book for younger students (about 12 and 13 years old). So the figure should be child-oriented. I think a comic-figure would be appropriate. It should look friendly and perhaps a little bit funny. I thought about a mouse, because of the wordplay mouse and computer-mouse. But if someone has a better idea, I am accessible also for other ideas.
The basic figure should be transformed in a few different characters (girls with long hairs and boys with short hairs in different colors, perhaps one with glasses + a teacher), so that it is possible to tell small stories with the figures. I would also like it, if the pose of the figure could be variated (different posture, different hand positions or something like that), so that the figure looks a little bit different. I hope this is not very complicated, when the basic figure exists. It would be good, if the figures were able to hold up a sign or a pencil in order to variate it for different situations.
I think that it is enough to create the basic figure at first, until I have decided in favor of one suggestion. But finally, I would like to have also different variations.
Thank you very much for your help.
With kindest regards
