How To Make iPhone Apps
My name is Matt (@MattjDrake on Twitter) and I'm an iPhone app developer who is determined to get people started on making their own apps without a lot of fuss. This is what I do full-time and I am here to help other developers get excited about this new platform so they can start their own app business.
Many of my site visitors are software developers who want to learn iOS development. These people are usually high tech geeks who are fans of companies like Apple, Twitter and Google. Many also want to "escape" their 9-5 jobs and started their own technology company.
My audience is generally English speaking (USA, Europe, India, Australia). Many readers are from urban areas like NYC, San Fran or London. They are all people who are Mac users (vs PC).
What I want is my site to have a real identity so it stands out from the other developer websites out there. It will need some type of iconic logo as well as stylized text. The content and structure cannot really change, see the live website at http://howtomakeiphoneapps.com so you can see that. Also, the email optin box at the top upper right must stay in the same position but it could really use a nice graphic to draw readers eyes to the free email course.
The site also requires a navigation menu that we can control that is attached to pages but these nav tabs should have more personality than the ones ups currently.
Other than that - all I ask is for a bit of creativity.
PS: the site is at http://howtomakeiphoneapps.com so you can use that as a guide in terms of the overall structure.
