No More Lemonade
We have a middle-school/junior-high curriculum that teaches kids about entrepreneurship.
We want a comic strip designed. This winner of this contest WILL be hired for 1-on-1 project to create 32 3-8 panel comic strips, so there is a LOT of additional work possibility here! The styling is for an educational book, targeted towards middle-school/high school kids, possibly along the lines of this (http://www.amazon.com/Smile-Raina-T…132061/ref).
Included with your design must be an estimate on how long it will take to complete a strip (3-8 panels) along with the hourly rate you would charge for a 1-on-1. All of this will be taken into consideration, and the final winner will be secured for a 1-on-1 for 32 strips that will have to be completed by May 15.
We want you to submit for the contest one panel depicting a middle-school/junior-high kid, standing in front of a lemonade stand talking to a lemon character (see attachment). There must be an empty speech bubble from the lemon. The kid looks discouraged and the lemon is trying to cheer him up.
The final file must be a complete strip designed including this panel, but that will not need to be designed until the project is awarded (at which point you will be also doing 32 additional strips for us).
I look forward to your entries, please let me know if you have any questions!
