marrsx4 got their new illustration or graphics by running a design contest:
Jumpstart Talking needs a new illustration
Check out marrsx4's Illustration or graphics contest…
We get kids to talk. This particular program works with children ages 3-4. Parents are primarily affluent and from New York Tri-State area.
What's your vision?
I need simple illustrations for a booklet that will be used children ages 2-4. File needs to be editable and compatible with Adobe CS5 for windows. I've attached a couple of examples that were scanned from a past booklet to show the simplicity of what's been done so far. The focus of that booklet was bubbles. The focus of this booklet is a ball and I need an illustration for each line below (16 in total). The child's face (4th line) will play a major role in my final choice. It's okay if the child is older than the target audience but it needs to seem expressive and engaging. I'd like a hand drawn feel, but I'm not married to it. There will be at least two more books of similar length in this project and some other packaging pieces. I'd like to commission the winner of this competition for the rest of the project. (one illustration per line) The ball is on the chair The ball is on the bed The ball is on my bear (think teddy bear) The ball is on my head The ball is in my hand The ball is in the sea The ball is in the sand The ball is in the tree The ball is on my seat The ball is on my box The ball is on my feet The ball is on my socks The ball is on the cat The ball is on my shoe The ball is on the hat The ball is on you
I'll try to respond and give as much feedback as I can. However, I mostly avoid the star ratings until a design has had a chance to develop. I'm not an illustrator, so please bear with me when I try to give guidance. Let me know any questions you have.

Sandrelenrod is the best! I have worked with her on two published picture books, and the books are beautiful and working with her was a breeze. I highly recommend her!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
