Steve Stay got their new logo & brand guide by running a design contest:
Luxurious yet approachable logo/brand design for an artisan keycap company

Art & Design
I make hand-crafted artisan keycaps for mechanical computer keyboards. They are made primarily out of rocks, gemstones, and crystals. They also include luxury metals like silver, gold, copper, and brass. Some other materials include black, or white plastic, carbon fiber, and wood. Clients put these keycaps on their custom mechanical keyboards they use for work and gaming. I get a lot of more modern techy people, however, I do not want my logo to be super techy-themed. If possible, combining the worlds of computers and rocks could be cool. My audience is 60% female, and 40% male. The age of my audience is in their 20s and 30s.
Other color requirements
I am thinking of some more luxurious light neutrals with pops of colors—sort of reflecting my gemstones on boring keyboards. I am open to suggestions and your creative input.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo & brand guide.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
