Community & Non-Profit
In September 2012, Camp Stevens will celebrate its 60th anniversary. A peaceful place apart in a beautiful unspoiled setting, Camp Stevens has grown from summer camp to year-round destination for inspiration, reflection, play and renewal. Offering summer camp, outdoor education, teambuilding programs and retreat center facilities, with 256 acres of meadows, ponds, forest and facilities, Camp Stevens provides space for connecting to the earth and building community.
Logo types to explore
An Episcopal Church camp and conference center, where all are welcome, the theme for our 60th anniversary is: Camp Stevens: The First 60 Years Celebrating roots, planting seeds, branching out Imagery should include a mature tree and a younger tree, sprouting from the same roots. Other possible image features include: a complete canopy; both trees growing out of the “Camp Stevens acorn,” an image that appears in our organizational letterhead (attached); incorporating the number 60 into the roots. The trees should be either non-specific breed wise, or a live or black oak, as that is what we have in our area. Lines should be clean, and the image should look good in small, button form both in print and online, as well as blown-up and used on t-shirts or banners. Our audiences are diverse, including long-time donors and supporters from the Episcopal Church, former staff, and alumni. These constituencies include both traditional and progressive thought leaders who share a concern for environmental sustainability and support for Christian values of community and caring. The image should be recognizable, traditional and current enough to register across all spectra.
