"Shumii" is the English translation of the Chinese Name based on the pronunciation. The Chinese name is "数米“, which literally means "counting rice grains". Rice grains also mean money in Chinese and the Chinese character of "counting" (数）also mean "Data". So overall it delivers the idea of "converting your data into money, bit by bit".
