Reality Farm Network (RFN.TV)
Reality Farm Network (RFN.TV) is a New Reality-Show Based Social Network that is currently in development. The purpose of Reality Farm Network is to aid in growing the next batch of reality stars by giving them the platform they need to be noticed and recognized. Our website allows the user to post their weekly reality-show based content to our Network and to compete with other users by and moving up our Colony leader board based on their positive show ratings.
The look and functionality of this website is based on a "Bee" colony (Hives, Worker/Drone Bees, Cells (Hexagons). The logo should reflect this theme.
The target audience for RFN will be two-fold. On one side, there would be the content creators, and on the other side would be the viewers. But overall, the target audience would be people that are interested in watching Reality-Based content. Since this is a market that is constantly growing, there will be many different target audiences, so it is best to go for a clean network look (ie Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, WikiLeaks).
-(1)Logo with (2) versions of text (alt text; might be used on website or print media, need both version of name as options) "Reality Farm Network" and "RFN.TV". Text should not be incorporated within the design/graphic part of the logo.
-the artwork must be delivered in a layered vector format.
-a logo that can also be used as a watermark
-must look like a clean network logo.
-keep colors to a minimum, must also look good/clean/clear in greyscale for video watermark (Image will also be used for logo in RFN videos and website branding).
I'm open to the use of hexagon(s), but please don't make them look like all of the other Hex logos out there. Logo should look like they would be fitting for a Reality-Show Based Social Network. Think more of a “pharm”, then a ‘farm”, I’m looking for a clean design.
Colors I can see are black, yellow, green....shiny texture?……however I am open to artistic suggestions. I will get back to you promptly with feedback on your designs.
-Overly cutesy cartoonish designs
-lots of colors
-an overly complicated design
-something that is not easily recognizable
-stock/clip art images
The winning design will influence everything from the marketing material to business cards and icons. We intend to use the logo in both marketing materials and the application icon, we need the artwork delivered in a layered vector format.
