Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Lions of Literature is a great books program that helps connect children and adults with the best contemporary and classical literature. It is a nonprofit program dedicated to bringing groups of suburban and city children together during the summer to read and learn.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I want this logo to be something that children ages 9-13 will relate to. I want it to appeal to both boys and girls. I want it to be bright and fun, yet with a classical style (nothing cartoonish or clip art please). It can include any of the following: lion, stacks of books, children, classical literature imagery. I like the more classic designs of the Lion King, the NY Library Lions or The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe/Narnia covers, and Library Lion (the book). But I also don't want something that looks too reminiscent of these. This logo is for a nonprofit that champions the power of children to "read up" and the power of books to transform even the youngest among us through an education and imagination gleaned from great books like Tom Sawyer, Black Stallion, Little House on the Prairie, Anne of Green Gables, Charlotte's Web, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, Drums, and The Time Machine. I want the logo to sing out and enchant website visitors. This logo will be used on a website, on advertising and on a summer reading contest entry form. I'd like the logo to have a transparent background.
