HrLocker, hrlocker, hrLocker - you decide. The url is hrlocker.com.
HrLocker is a Web app for managing HR documents. Don't yawn - it just makes life more challenging working in HR. We already run assemblypoint.com which is used for time and annual leave (PTO) tracking. I got the logo for assemblypoint here, and a couple of other too.
Our target audience is global early adopters in a business leadership role. Many of them will be working in HR. Typical audience member might be English-speaking, female, university educated and "white collar". They'll be familiar with Web 2.0 technology and although won't have 1,000+ twitter followers they will use facebook and linkedin.
We're a web business. We need a web logo. That's number 1. The logo will be used on a white background. We're going to be using the page design already on our existing application. You can log in and see it for yourself at assemblypoint.com/signup.
I know I don't want: Corel Draw type clipart, gradients, musical instruments, rip offs of other logos, or crudely obvious locker references.
Ideally we want to convey a slick, online service that is secure, reliable yet innovative. Remember the service is for managing HR documents - especially staff handbooks/policies and procedure documents.
If you're still interested here's how it works - a manager signs up his/her company, creates the staff handbook, uploads it, and adds staff members. Staff then get an email directing them to the handbook where they digitally sign it and confirm they've read it. If you're interested in using the service it will be online in about two weeks. We have the programming done. We just need the logo now. That's where you come in....
