Red Bow Studio
I am opening a fitness studio that will specialize in modern, of the moment group classes (barre, Pilates, dance based) in a chic, but comfortable, environment in Washington, DC's Capitol Hill. Basically, this is going to a studio for group classes and private lessons for women who want access to great classes and workouts, but don't want to go to a sweaty, noisy gym, and love the idea of discovering something new and great. The classes are highly specialized classes that you would find in LA or New York, but that aren't widely available in DC. I want people to feel like they are getting the absolute best in service and quality that's available in this market, and want to pass the word on to others at a place that feels like their most fabulous friend's apartment. I will mostly be relying on word of mouth to get customers, so I want an awesome logo that will be immediately recognizable as representing Red Bow Studio if for example someone saw it on a t-shirt on the street.
I am targeting women (and possibly some men) who are willing to spend a little bit more on their fitness regimen if they feel that they're getting the absolute best and most effective workouts available. The classes I will be featuring are mentioned in magazines like US Weekly and InStyle, and the women who come to them are generally the types who shop in boutiques rather than department stores and feel like they are definitely trend spotters, but not necessarily "trendy." They are anywhere from college aged to in their 60s and they are social and friendly. More than anything they want results when they work out and are willing to pay for them, especially if it's in an environment that's welcoming and comfortable but undeniably chic. These are women who call their friends when they find something new and great and get them to join too.
I would like my logo to be clean, simple, and chic but also a little playful. It must incorporate a red bow (like on top of a wrapped present), the words "Red Bow" or "Red Bow Studio" depending on what works for your design (you can, for example, have the word "Studio" underneath the rest of the logo in smaller text), and in one incarnation include a tag line (tbd) using a font that can also be used for the web site text. For the tagline you can use: "Tie up your fitness package..." as a placeholder.
Here is what I would love for now:
-Logos in EPS and JPG formats, one with tag line included, one without
-Avatar
-Very simple website design incorporating logo, possibly with a tag line and basic information on the home page, and then links to "About Red Bow," "Featuring," "Schedule," "Studio News" "Press," and "Contact Red Bow"
Some examples of the look I am going for include:

I won't be incorporating a lot of text on the side pages at all, but will be including a bio and brief descriptions and then links to a scheduling program and any press I receive.
