How Glosbe started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Glosbe is an international, community based multilingual dictionary ( https://glosbe.com ). It contains translations in nearly all languages spoken in the world. In addition to translations we have images, audio recordings and examples of translated sentences (ie. see here: https://glosbe.com/en/es/tree ).
In next few months we are going to add e-learning features to our portfolio (learning words). Also we are working on a service for professional translators. Both services will use Glosbe brand.
Target audience for our products are people looking for translations, language learners, professional translators.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Glosbe has been founded in mid 2011. Since that time our logo was a computer generated, colorful bird (attached to this contest in PNG and SVN).
We like that concept as it communicates freedom and diversity so we encourage you to incorporate colorful bird into your design.
If you feel that you have a better concept on your mind then feel free to use it. There is no obligation to use the bird.
Maybe you can also get something from our name Glosbe, you can think of it as a blend of words Glossary and Globe.
