Fretheim Hotel is an environmentally certified hotel, located in the beautiful surroundings of the West Norwegian Nærøyfjord area (a world heritage site since 2005). “Experience the five senses” is the hotels slogan. The hotel is looking for a logo for their culinary philosophy "Det bevisste kjøkken" (“The Conscious Kitchen”).

In the logo, both the “experience the senses”-idea and the environmental aspect should become visible.
The logo should consist of the text "det bevisste kjøkken – the conscious kitchen" and something more, which reflects the concepts essence. It must fit to the rest of the style of the Hotel (have a look here: http://www.fretheim-hotel.no/index_eng.htm) but shouldn’t be too close/a copy. We need a combined Norwegian and English version. It must be useable both dark-on-light and light-on-dark.
This contest is the second round of what has run here: http://99designs.com/contests/8936. No winner was chosen there due to copyright issues. Also we found out that our customer wanted more emphasis on the “environmental part” of the concept.
