A globally-recognized drummer/teacher/clinician who runs DrumTVShow on Youtube (over 5100 subscribers) is completing a book called Drumopedia! A Handbook for Beginning Drumset. It is 22 chapters, extensive and includes many topics from rock, pop, funk, latin, rudiments/stickings, fills, coordination exercises, jazz, blues, double bass, ambidexterity, patterns, etc. This 8.5 x 11 book cover will be very highly exposed. Beginner to Intermediate Drummers -- All Ages
The only real requirements are: 1) the title and authors are on the cover which is: Drumopedia! A Handbook for Beginning Drumset by Dan Britt with Shahmir Kamalian, MD. The "with Shahmir Kamalian, MD" will be in smaller print than "by Dan Britt".
2) the cover has a regular 5 piece drumset (ideally with no company brand) with the 3 basic cymbal part - 1) the hi-hat [the 2 that go together], and 2 cymbals (one on each side). (This is the typical kind of picture of a drumset). Here is a picture of the setup from a different book: http://musicbooksplus.com/images/AP1313.jpg
3) This testimonial fits on it: “Dan Britt is one of the most forward thinking drummers/educators in the industry." - Terry Silverlight (The Sopranos Show Music Contributor/Paul Shaffer/George Benson). If there's not enough room, George Benson could be taken out.
One possible idea (but not at all a requirement) is to have the Bass Drum of the Drumset be the "O" in Drumopedia. Just an idea.
If you can make it look like a Fun and Educational cover at the same time, that would be great, Thanks very much!!....
