DioceseofSwVA got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create an ancient/modern logo for a new monastic community for young adults
Check out DioceseofSwVA's Logo design contest…
The Aidan Community is a young adult intentional community that has houses across Southwestern Virginia. Four or five young adults (18-35) live together in a house and work in various jobs in the community. The members share meals and leisure time while deepening their spiritual lives. The Aidan Community is associated with the Episcopal Church and the Anglican tradition. It is named after St. Aidan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aidan_of_Lindisfarne), an Irish/English saint.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty. Reds: Energy, action, passion and love. Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury. Greens: Fertility, Wealth, Healing, Success, Growth
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
DioceseofSwVA collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
