How DavesWoodDesigns started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Daves Wood Designs .com
What’s your company slogan?
handcrafted wooden gifts (I'd like options with and without slogan)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I sell high quality hand made wooden items. I typically make smaller items for shipping reasons as my business is 90% online. My primary product is wooden candy dispensers (selling around 200 a year, see my website for images), but I also have begun branching out with cutting boards, scroll saw art, wine displays, etc.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Let designers make suggestions:
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Maybe some reds mixed in also
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
My business name is Dave's Wood Designs and is primarily online, so I want my logo to show the ".com". I want people to easily be able to know that my website is my business name with ".com": DavesWoodDesigns.com
I envision something short and wide. I am hoping to be able to make the logo into a "branding iron", so it will need to be something that I can easily convert into a "black and white" image. Also, I intend to eventually use it on shirts, business cards, vehicle decal, etc. I also would possibly be interested in incorporating an outline image of my candy dispensers (please see my website) if you could make it look classy enough (but this isnt a priority). I also like the idea of having a saw blade in the image.
I've attached other logos, simply because I like the dimensions and styles, but I honestly have no idea what I really want....hoping that your awesome creativity ideas may help out here. :)
Feel free to go in a total different direction.....I'm open to ideas.
