Shultz Photo School has grown to over 55,000 subscribers. Most refer to it as SPS. The original logo is a camera made out of SPS...the last S being flipped horizontally. But most don't see that. We often refer to ourselves as [SPS]. Even a simple version of [SPS] with a circle around it could do the trick. "Shultz Photo School" doesn't have to be in the main version of the logo.
I'm a sucker for clean and understated design. I want a logo that a fashionable mom or dad would LOVE to wear on a gray t-shirt, etc. We'll be making hip coffee mugs as well.
**Something trendy but simple enough to stand the test of time.**
UPDATE: After first few designs came in. Things were way off. Please see my website for the general clean and simple feel my brand already communicates. If someone gets anywhere close I'll award a 3 star so that we can see what I'm looking for.
UPDATE 2: If you're going to highlight a word by size or font weight, please don't highlight "Shultz." If anything, highlight Photo School.
UPDATE 3: The first 60 designs aren't headed in the right direction. Perhaps see this link for a lot of good starting points from a couple years ago: https://99designs.com/logo-design/c…ing-280411 Most of these are a bit too playful. I'd like a bit more maturity and sophistication, without getting too serious or cold. Simple and understated, but with a touch of vintage might be what I'm after... i.e.: https://99designs.com/profiles/gtgraphics
