UPDATE 2018-05-09 -
Thank you for making it this far finalists!!
I'd like the logo (and later website theme) to appeal to audience age 25-45. About 70% of my inbound email/phone calls are female homeowners. They do the initial research before they agree to meet with both husband and wife together. So the logo needs to be welcoming and inviting. You can see some of my previous design projects here https://www.flickr.com/photos/mtkc/sets. I also uploaded some photo at the bottom of this brief for reference.
Please note my website will likely use font family: proxima-nova", "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif. Please ensure the logo will fit well with this style.
I also removed the blue color because I think it is too formal and masculine. I think softer lines may be prefer instead of the hard, sharp angles in the font. I am opened to red (with or without gray), and green #4dbc15. The red can be more burgundy, OR, with a small hint of orange, but not a bright red, and not purple.
Please disregard previous comment on isometric design, so far we have not seen any submission that works well in that area.
We have seen many designs with just "MT" on the left, and "kitchen cabinets" on the right already. I think this is a good, safe option for the branding iron use case (see attached picture of drawer box). For our website and business cards, I think we can continue to explore more design driven logos, for example: #172, 178, 181. Please also explore configurations with "MTKC" as an logo.
Thank you sooo much for your efforts in this contest this far!!
