Karla put in a great deal of effort to design our logo. We greatly appreciated her time and dedication adjusting the logo until we found the perfect vision of our soon to be store. Thank you Karla.
EM-DESIGN was great to work with and listened well to our suggestions to provide us with just what we were looking for in a logo design.
Ekin1 was very receptive to feedback and replied promptly, making running the contest a very easy process.

How marklmiddleton started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Someone, Not Something
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Someone, Not Something is a project of The Kimmela Center for Animal Advocacy and Farm Sanctuary. Its goal is to compile the scientific evidence for the cognitive and emotional complexity of farm animals for the purpose of advocating for their welfare.
The audience for the project will be scientists and other attendees of scientific conferences, people who will have influence over farm animal policy decisions, and media organizations. To a lesser degree, the project will appeal directly to the general public.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
This is a serious project about animal intelligence and awareness. It aims to highlight the idea that each individual animal is a someone, not a something. Each animal is a "he" or a "she", not an "it". The logo could possibly evoke the individuality or uniqueness of a farm animal such as a pig or a chicken, but it should be done in a subtle, tasteful way.
