Community & Non-Profit
Direct Horrors is a place where direct marketing professionals can share the worst mistakes they've seen in the business. Think of it as the "PostSecret of Junk Mail". Everything from crazy customer names that should never have been printed (John Worst Customer Ever Smith) to plain stupid ideas (mailing a rock) to email marketing fiascoes (put clients in the to field and causing a reply-to-all marketing disaster). Fun, light hearted but also a chance to anonymously laugh at bad mistakes to learn from them. Direct marketing includes postal, email, web, mobile and telemarketing - any medium where a company can directly communicate with their customers - and mess it up.
