Higher Nature
Higher Nature creates and operates state of the art treetop aerial challenge and adventure courses which are educational and great fun. These courses incorporate a mix of challenge elements: suspension bridges, swings, ladders, surf, tarzan swing, nets, trapezes, and zip lines between trees. The courses are graduated in degree of difficulty and overall there are over 100 challenge elements and lines high in the trees, distributed over some 7-8 courses. Our emphasis is on providing individuals and groups with nature oriented experiential learning opportunities for empowerment, team building, leadership training, and overcoming self imposed emotional barriers. We address the nature deficit problem in society, promote fitness and fight obesity by attracting people to get into the woods and into the trees. We preserve older growth forests through low impact productive, educational and fun "use", promoting "conservation for the benefit of the people, not just the wildlife". Our courses can be used for 5-20-30 years and then removed "with no trace left behind".
We target families, towns, colleges and corporate and civic groups. We are opening the first major such course in the Boston market and soon at a top rated college.
We are a venture capital backed company and anticipate many sites in the U.S. and abroad. We are looking a logo which communicates high quality and nature - Higher Nature.
Three of the logos above are from a current contest my son is running for Higher Nature Apparel. I think the symbol of the upper part of a tall white pine tree might be valuable (the forests we seek have tall pines or other trees, the greenery is high up and the trunks are tall without a lot of branches. Maybe there is an application for the fun idea of a giraffe (maybe becomes a cuddly toy we sell) as it visually communicates Higher (tall neck) Nature (animal-Giraffe) but I'm not sure this should be in the main logo for the Company. We seek world class sites: Our Boston site involves an island with tall evergreens on it and a boat excursion. The site at a highly prestigious college will end with ziplines over a pond. Notwithstanding, the logo needs to be clean, simple, denote high class and quality, and not be complicated.
