To find out more about my practice and me, go to LucasLegal.com.
I'm looking for a logo that can be easily used in multiple formats (on my web site, on business cards, internet address bar, print ads, web ads, and letterhead). Or a "main logo" to use on the web site, advertising, etc., but with a smaller visual element that could be pulled and used on smaller formats like internet address bar, business cards, etc.
I generally like more "traditional" looks, but I'm open to having a more modern feel. Law can be a stuffy place, so often times our logos (or lack of them) reflects that. But my practice embraces video conferencing with clients, cloud documents, and nontraditional pricing options. I'd like for my practice to be seen as stable, dependable, and knowledgeable (traditional) but a modern practice that embraces technology, has some "energy," and is able to change and "roll with the punches" (modern).
Links to sites with logos that have a certain appeal: bingham.com (law firm), lacma.org (museum), fujitsu.com (multi), underarmour.com (clothing), motorola.com (electronics); I do not respond well to: skadden.com, hkprobate.com, or http://www.gilpinlawtulsa.com/index.cfm (law). Nothing with a gavel or "justice scales," please.
If there's a way to fit in "Trusts & Estates. Family. Business." as a tag line, ok, but don't force it if it'll look too cluttered.
