We sell forest and land management services for large landowners. Services include: brush mowing, trail creation, restoring/reseeding prairies and natural areas, MFL and CRP compliance (government programs >> conservation reserve program and managed forest law), large-scale mowing, tree harvesting, prairie restoration, wildlife habitat improvement, erosion control, hunting habitat management, woodlot consulting, and land maintenance. These are services appealing to land owners who want functional use of multi-acre tracts of forest, prairie an other land. One aspect of what we do is help land owners get usefulness from their land and help them do work they cannot do alone. We also can create and regularly groom spaces for special events (like weddings, parties, family activities). Tree farms and hunting property owners are our biggest clients. The logo needs to convey the idea of using or making useful a big forest and meadow. This area of the country is very hilly with abundant wildlife. Maybe that will help you. Birds? Deer in trees? Woodcut imagery with hills, forest and meadow landscape? Probably needs to say"forest" and not "trees".
Logo types to explore
We love the land and care about sustainability and balancing use by man ,animal, tree and plant life. We do not want a logo that looks like a gardening or landscaping business. The message we want to send might require a logo with more than one or two elements. This is "industrial-strength" land management using heavy-duty machinery, numerous people and sometimes chainsaws. Must convey lush and natural - not landscaped or sterile. Could use imagery of forest with wildlife like whitetail deer. Note for designers 7.2.13: Hi all - I really love many of the ideas that have recently come in. I think that the logo will be more on-target if the imagery says forest or wild landscape (rather than tree, public park or private yard) with some really minor hint of man such as a walking path (which must not be mistakable for a road!). Be guided by this comment but not limited by it. There are lots of superb ideas in the running!added Note added 7/3: We are located in Wisconsin, USA. Common trees in this area are red oak, walnut, ash, maple and pine trees. We have no tropical animals. This is Northern forest. This area of the state is very hilly with dense lush woods, trout streams, deer and turkey. Note 7/3: I recommend you use different tree types (needle trees and deciduous).
