I have a mobile pottery business. I go to businesses, community-centers, religious organizations, private and company parties, schools, hospitals, camps, Girls Scouts' events, nature centers, gardens, business for TEAM Building ! This is not ceramics in which you just paint a piece of some mass produced ceramic. Every class I host is custom designed/ themed for that particular company or event. Recently I did a class for an arboretum that everyone brought in there favorite plant leaf of flower and we pressed them in clay and made plates. At a Jewish center we made mezuzas that could be placed in their door way. For a Potteryworks event, we arrive with everything we need to teach clay session, and in two weeks your work is complete. I teach fun, cool projects, from toy boat building, to bird houses. All hand building projects are formed from clay. Then you paint your project with underglazes and I take it back to my studio and fire the work in my kiln. After it is fired, I deliver your work within two weeks. This is not ceramics where you just paint. I offer the chance to create and build cool projects!!
Logo types to explore
The logo has to be clean, classic, and have modern feel. I don't want something obvious that has a car with Potteryworks Mobile writing on the side. Boring !! This a new type of business that has not been in the mainstream yet. I would like for it to speak to a wide audience but have a level of sophistication to it as well . The logo has to look good on an apron, but most important on my car. Think large mini copper with my logo on side, but look good as my main logo for my website too.The most important part of the logo has to explain what Potteryworks does, 1. Community/groups(Pic of globe or people) 2. Mobile(stick shift numbers ) 3.Create/Pottery (modern pic of pottery) 4.Fun,relaxing (pic of head with fireworks in brain area). You have to have at least three things explaining Potteryworks Mobile. Think cool, but understandable ! My target audience is not old people, so have fun !!
