Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We perform Site Development (taking a raw piece of land and providing the client with a site to build their new business/residence), Excavating (foundations, tanks, etc.) and Utility (water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer) services for commercial and residential clients in throughout Colorado. We are a family owned business established in Colorado in 1979. We pride ourselves on Client Retention (i.e. happy clients), high quality of work, honesty, and integrity/playing fair in an unfair world.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Designers are free to propose any colors they choose. We have always had green and black as our colors, but I'm interested to see other combinations.
Greens (Growth, harmony and success.)
Dark neutrals (Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.)

Our company name is really Lamb Plumbing & Excavating (as you can tell by the initials in our current logo attached), but we mainly verbally go by Lamb Excavating and we have not done plumbing work for several years. I have attached our current logo and four examples of an excavating logo from a previous design competition here on 99designs.com. We like the incorporation of the excavator boom and bucket in our current logo, but are not set on this being incorporated to expand the design opportunities. We are looking to select a logo that is professional, clean/sharp, minimalist but with a little design flair (modern). No real pictures, clip art or “cartoony” pictures. LAMB should be featured (kind of like DOW in the attached examples). I have attached a picture of one of our Link Belt Excavators (red machine) as well as some general excavator pictures and silhouette's that I found.
