The Art of Spiritual Combat
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I write and teach online courses that are are aimed at Catholics who want to acquire the necessary skills to combat the temptations of the devil as well as develop a strong personal prayer life. My goal is to inspire and strengthen the faith of both men and women. The imagery I use is primarily masculine with an emphasis on "warfare" or "combat."

First of all, here is my website: http://www.philipkosloski.com/
Here are two quotes that stand as a basis for my writing and online courses:
"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places." Ephesians 6:12
“Spiritual combat” is another element which needs to be taught anew and proposed once more to all Christians today. It is a secret and interior art, an invisible struggle in which Christians engage every day against the temptations, the evil suggestions that the demon tries to plant in their hearts; it is a combat that becomes crucifixion in the arena of solitude in the quest for the purity of heart that makes it possible to see God (cf. Mt 5:8) and of the charity that makes it possible to share in the life of God who is love (cf. 1 Jn 4:16)."
My readers appreciate modern military themes as well as medieval knighthood and chivalry.
