Attorney & Law
(1) The target audience of this company will be businessmen/entrepreneurs, both small and medium. So, anyone who is an entrepreneur or wants to be one, he/she will be our target audience. (2) Our primary market will be India and the United States. Therefore, one thing to be kept in mind is that the mascot/character you come up with needs to appeal to both Indians and Americans alike.
Logo types to explore
(1) So the name of the startup "DrTradeMark" indicates that the mascot/character is a doctor. Like literally. In addition, "Dr" also indicates a learned person. Therefore, even though the logo should be young/fun/energetic and should invoke humour, it should also convince the target audience that this can work for them. (2) "TM" and "R in a circle" are used in the trademark world to indicate that the marks are in use and/or are registered respectively. It would be great if you could make use of either of these symbols in some way. May be they could be made a part of the stethoscope. [Just uploaded another design concept where a 3D character is leaning on a R in a circle]. A good concept could be a doctor leaning on that R in a circle. (3) At this juncture, we're not sure if we'll use a full length character or half body (just like the one I uploaded - which is seen as coming out of the circle its enclosed in). Therefore, it would be great if you could send me both versions of the doctor. I mean, half body with your designs and the the full body character, as well. (4) Please visit http://www.behance.net/gallery/Male-Doctor-Cartoon-Character-Set/10914435 I really like this male doctor cartoon character. I like his features, as well. See if you could come up with something similar but of course distinct. (5) I'm not really a design person, but I've been told that designs in vector form are the best as there is no scaling problem in those. Therefore, either correct me if I'm wrong or go with a vector form of logo. (6) A smiling face is a must. The character should look happy and welcoming. (7) I really like the thumbs up style of the character. Therefore, I would like to see such a thumbs up. (8) I'm not from this industry, however, just for the sake of brevity, let me also say that the doctor that you come up with must be customizable in the future to have different facial expressions, different hand orientations, different body postures and so on and so forth. Plus, the winner will also be hired for future modifications to the character as and when required!
