Richard Easton II needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 474 designs submitted by 105 freelance designers.
Daisyme (or DaisyMe) is an inspiring lifestyle media brand that reaches sophisticated, youthful women. The artsy, edgy, whimsical style of the content and branding require numerous hand drawn or graphic art illustrations to accompany the lighthearted, witty text. Daisyme will be a brief, daily e-newsletter similar in style to Daily Candy; however, rather than fashion and food, Daisyme will focus on lifestyle, fitness, nutrition, personal development, feng shui and astrology.
Daisyme or DaisyMe
We're looking for a hand drawn, watercolor, or graphic gerber daisy in the logo. We're also looking for at least four watercolor drawings or graphics as examples of your style to accompany the daily e-letter. This is potentially a long-term commitment: the winner will be asked to create hundreds of drawings on a contract basis for Daisyme because each daily e-letter will require a new image. Try to keep it tasteful and elegant yet a little fun too. This logo and artwork will go onto the website and e-newsletters, representing our brand.
- Item 1...One logo and at least four watercolor drawings of women, places and things that related well to lifestyle, fitness, nutrition, personal development, feng shui, and astrology. We're not looking to copy Daily Candy. We're looking for our own brand.
- Item 1...Keep it fun yet tasteful, youthful yet sophisicated, hip and cool.
