Great design and great designer. He was very willing to fine tune our knit-picky details.
We were looking for an icon that would add meaning to a name that is defined by local legal requirements. We got something that real told our story visually.
How decsul started their logo design journey
We are a start-up business with the goal of creating a great new sports betting product.
Game players, i.e. "fantasy managers", will pick a team from players in a real world league, e.g. English Premier League. They then decide how much money they would like to stake on their chosen team. Based on the performance of these players in the real world competition, the fantasy manager's team will earn points. The most successful managers who earn most points will win money!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
There are 2 audiences that this logo will need to appeal to:
- fantasy managers: these are the end users of the product. They are 18-40 year old males, with a huge interest in sports. They will require some fun elements in the logo.
- betting operators/affiliate partners: to reach the fantasy managers we will also set up white-label affiliates with industry partners who will then market the service to their customers. These are likely to be large professional operations, so the logo must also appeal at a professional level.
The first part of the name (totel) is a little misleading to users. They expect it to be spelled total. Therefore, it is important that the font is clear.
Use different colours for "totel" and "football". Use the orange and navy colours as shown in the totelfootball_draft.gif attached.
The brand concept is:
- professional to appeal to B2B partners (of primary importance),
- fun to appeal to the fantasy managers as a fun way to bet and be entertained.
It should incorporate our tagline...
"It's not just a game!"
