The logo we received is great. It is clean, sophisticated and we are excited to start using it.

I'm a fine-art photographer--I sell prints in galleries, art markets, online, etc. (I don't offer services for hire, e.g. weddings, portraits, events etc.) I want people that only see my logo to know that I'm a photographer.
My audience typically buys art (ie they visit galleries and fairs) but a buyer can be somebody who doesn't 'shop' for art and happens to see an image they like. The amount spent can vary widely so the logo shouldn't convey anything about value or cost.

My web site is lensandhat.com. People I meet know and remember me by my black cowboy hat. I'm including my photograph for reference but I don't want my image in the logo. The logo should incorporate a black cowboy hat in some manner.
I also included the logo I'm currently using but it isn't a design guide. (I'm dropping The View From Under My Hat tag line and changing the business name to Lens and Hat.)
