Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're an open-source, educational initiative that is aiming to help students and other practitioners understand machine learning/artificial intelligence research papers better.
Often, academic research papers are not written to be understood by beginners in the field, and we've been compiling a deep-dive set of classes and resources that would help someone understand a few important research paper better. We hope that others in the community will learn from this and help us grow it to encompass more papers.
Our target audience includes: students who might getting a PhD in a related field, or engineers at a startup who want to understand some of the theoretical aspects of some research better, or interested folks who want to appreciate some of the exciting advancements in AI.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

UPDATE: We'd like to try a few designs that incorporate iconography of a book (or something closely related, but preferably a book) with a small, minimal binary tree with just a small number connections (http://www.statisticshowto.com/wp-c). Thank you for the designs so far!
In general, we'd like the designs to be minimal and flat.
The theme is AI-based, but we do not want any sort of robots/terminator-type objects in our logos.
We call ourselves depth-first learning; this is inspired by the fact that we can pick a certain paper and dive really deep into the details of it; this is contrast with picking a few papers and understanding them with more breadth. Moreover, the name comes from computer science terminology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depth-first_search) and uses some ideas from graphs and searching.
