Fair Winds Candle Company
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is a startup company. I'll be making soy candles in scents inspired by my time in the United States Navy. The target market will be the military members and their spouses. They are in their mid 20s and 30s. They may or may not have children. They move every 2-3 years and try to hold on to a sense of familiarity and home wherever they go.
Fair winds is a good luck term used in the navy, wishing safe journeys home...wherever that may be.

The simplicity, and how the central symbol says it all
I love the intertwined s and d in the logo. Can also imagine this one with anchors on either side.
Love the vintage feel of this one
Looks like it could be a label already.
I like this bc I could image my business logo in this style if this wasn't for a bakery. The scent name would be underneath.
I'm looking for a modern take on a nautical themed design. I'm hoping to have a central image I can pull from the logo like a hipster anchor or modern compass rose that I'll be able to use on the lid of each jar.
