Great communication and vision. Responsive to revisions. Would work with again!
Very creative design. Wadye is great to work with and responsive. Would recommend to anyone. Wadye's design is certainly the most artistic entered in our contest.
Of all the artists I was only trying to decide between several of Vidars designs. He was very easy to work with and very talented. Very very happy with my experience with him.

The university of York has invested £2.5m into a new university cluster (for general information on a cluster see: https://insidehpc.com/hpc101/intro-…a-cluster/ and https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=h…58&bih=871 which will be free to use by all University of York academics. The new “viking” cluster has been designed with academics in mind, regardless of the type of research. It will have, amongst other other benefits.
+ 7000 cores
+ 192GB to 1.5TB Memory available per compute node
+ 8 Top spec GPUs
+ A high performance parallel file system (2.5PB)
+ A high performance network.
+ A from the cluster onto public clouds
We hope that this facility will attract the best researchers and academics from around the world whilst enabling current academics to conduct their world class research without the overhead of writing grants to secure time on other machines. It has the potential to be a transformative resource for the university.
The team at York chose the name 'Viking' not only because the Vikings were the primary people to settle northern England, but also because of their innovation and thirst to explore. Hopefully this will further help in inspiring designs. Thank you!
