Thrivent Leadership
Languish. (Worst)
Survive. (Bad)
Exist. (OK)
Succeed. (Good)
THRIVE. (Best)
The tagline for Thrivent Leadership is: "Leading Individuals and Organizations to Thrive."
Thriving is beyond success. It's the opposite of languishing. Thriving is living fully alive, fully engaged, and fully aware. Thriving is about becoming the best version of yourself for yourself and the people you lead.
We are a small, niche, leadership coaching and consulting firm who lead individuals--and the organizations they lead--THRIVE.
For a huge oak tree, the growth and grandeur above ground is only possible because of the depth and richness of the root system under ground. We believe that leaders--and all people--are the same way. For incredible results to emerge from the life and leadership of a leader, he or she must pay attention to all those things below of the surface of their lives.
We spend a lot of time with leaders focusing on:
- Self-Awareness
- Emotional Intelligence
- Humble
- Genuinely appreciating others
- Committing to personal health (emotional, spiritual, physical, mental, financial, relational)
- Living from personal mission
- Having deep personal character
When leaders get those things right, incredible things result in their lives and organizations.
After ensuring healthy self-leadership, we will then assist in designing organizational systems for leadership development.
Organizational leaders (C-class: CEO, CFO, COO, etc.; executive/senior leadership; boards of directors) who interested not only in achieving great results but also in personally and professionally developing their workforce.
The organizations could be in the for-profit or not-for-profit sectors.
They are both men and women. Likely, they are more seasoned, mature leaders than young, inexperienced leaders.
I'd rather this logo have an earthy, organic feel than a stiff, corporate feel. I'm more interested in warm earth tones than cool industrial tones.
Because of the nature of our business, this logo needs to convey trustworthiness, confidence, stability, and wisdom.
We really like trees and roots (see "about us" section above). It would be cool if you could work roots into the logo somehow.
If you prioritize a word in the logo, give priority to the word "thrivent."
The logo will be in many different places: online, print media, garments, video, etc. Please design accordingly.
Our corporate font is Calibri (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calibri). We'd prefer that the logo and font compliment each other but it's not mandatory that you use Calibri in the logo (in fact, we'd prefer that you not unless you think it looks amazing).
I've attached a mediocre, hand-drawn attempt at a logo as well as an image of a tree that I like.
Stipulations:
- No cartoons, clip art, or stock images
- No gradients, shadows lens flares, or other crazy photoshop effects
- No overly-complicated logo
- No flipped or upside down letters.
*Winning designer must supply a vector-based, CMYK, Adobe Illustrator (*.ai) file.
