Simple, easy to read font.
While I would stay away from circles, the font here is nice.
I like the abstract nature of this logo design. How "scribbles" come together to make something.
Simple, yet complex logo
How there is more to it if you look harder
Simple, but distinguishable
You can visualize paint without seeing a brush
Font is nice
UPDATE: I am getting a lot of straight forward logos - please try to think outside the box. Think about the slogan line of "bringing dreams to life". Think of the tasks remodeling a home consists of... paint... tile... woodwork... design... passion. Be creative. I can tell you now as I stated below, a house or a simple abbreviation in the form of MHD or MCD is unlikely to win unless it is really creative.
The logo should ideally have a "more than meets the eye" appeal. In other words, it would be great to convey "bringing dreams to life" by having a logo that you notice more/see something else if you take a longer look at it.
I am open to the associated logo. However, I'd like to stay away from houses unless you have a really unique idea (those are way too common with remodeling/design companies).
Winning design will also need to provide a layered PSD file.
