We empower children, support families and build stronger communities
Lifeline Center for Child Development was founded in 1959 as a five day a week kindergarten program serving 6 seriously emotionally handicapped children at a time when the NYC Department of Education was limited in ability to serve mentally ill children—most were hospitalized or institutionalized at that time. Today, Lifeline serves 185 seriously emotionally handicapped children with disabilities which may include: Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, Psychotic disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Disorder and Severe Adjustment Disorder. Lifeline’s goal is to provide comprehensive clinical service and daily special education classes to help these children adjust to the world around them and help them return back to regular or less restrictive programs within their community.
We would like something that sort of "lifts up" children? We are a pre-school and a K-12 school, but every student we serve has a mental health diagnosis. We work with many families who live in poverty and we try to provide strategies to manage the mental illness and contribute to children succeeding in school, and in life.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $429.
