Boyink got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Ditching Suburbia Logo
Check out Boyink's Logo design contest…
Ditching Suburbia will be a book, teaching materials, wearable products, and a website all with the purpose of showing families living in traditional suburban lives ways to get out and live lives of adventure, service, or sustainability.
Logo types to explore
You can look at http://ditchingsuburbia.com and http://instagram.com/ditchingsuburbia for more information/vibe about DitchingSuburbia. For the book we have interviewed families who moved into RVs, live on boats, live in Tiny Houses, ride bikes across the country, or go into the missions field. Turns out there are many ways out of the suburbs - so I don't want the logo to focus on the means but rather the inspiration for making a change. To be specific - I don't want: - RVs - boats - bikes - The "DS" initials I DO want: - a graphic element that visually communicates a break from the normal cookie cutter suburban life. I have thoughts of a row of 3 look-alike houses but the 3rd house is taking off like a rocket or is being loaded onto a flatbed truck. Or a row of three identical sheep but the 3rd sheep has a superman cape on. - The Ditching Suburbia words treated with equal weight. Not Ditching in bigger letters than Suburbia, etc. Feel free to have fun with the logo. The Ditching Suburbia name is a bit irreverent so the logo can be as well. It shouldn't look corporate.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $429.
